What a fantastic and wonderful time to be in!! Sure mortgage payments are through the roof on a house that will never be worth what it was, your job is having you work 10 days a week for 4 days pay, and you’re probably not super excited to hear electric bills will go up another 10% or so…but hey, fuck it, what’s the big deal as long as the energy companies are making profit right?!
Well since I know I’m still in 2009 and didn’t wake up in a cold sweat from some terrible nightmare in 1999 (btw..the sweats’ just from not turning on the AC *see above*), I still have some great news….the Dave After Dark official website is almost up and running under its new look and design thanks to Drewrey Solutions in Las Vegas. We’ve been working so hard, too hard, maybe indentured servant hard, but it’ll be worth it. With the new site we are really looking to expand our reach on the Dave After Dark Show and will be offering Podcasts there, as well as right here on the Word Press Blog (sorry Myspace Blog, you’re site won’t let me upload the fuckin’ Podcast). We’re also going to be making available new slots for sponsors to advertise, and will use them in combination with the Radio Show, the MySpace and Facebook pages, and now the new Youtube channel; DaveAfterDarkTV!
So before I make like a politician and “Climb the Appellation Trail”, I do want to say that I’ve had an amazing experience recently working with a gentleman who’s name speaks such volume in the Voice Over and Radio community, and that is the Legend..Ty Sante. Ty is a member of the Broadcasters Hall of Fame, and I want to thank him for working with me on a really exciting project. I always like to pay forward a little of the essence of greatness, if I am lucky enough to come across it, and Ty Sante is not only an architect of sound, but a wonderful and kind human being…thanks Ty for all that you’re doing!
